This is the motto of Zonky, a startup for lending and investing, which is highly successful. Today, they have hundreds of employees, billions on loan, and more than 55,000 active users. Zonky is a member of the PPF Group, which operates in 24 countries.
At Saham, we worked to expand the mobile and web application architecture, modernize visual layers, and add new services to help more users connect on the platform.
The Assignment
Refresh and expansion
We were invited to design a significant expansion of the mobile applications, including foreign localization support, connection of new internal microservices, and a complete visual refresh of the client experience.

Onboarding Validation
Fintech applications are legally bound to complex KYC and AML audits. We simplified document validation and photo uploads, reducing user sign-up exit rates significantly.
Global Overview Gateway
A clean gateway dashboard connecting borrower payments, investor wallets, and active portfolios in one screen. Designed to allow modular widgets to be easily added later.
New Marketplace & Reservator
Investors demand real-time filters and fast transaction capabilities. We built a highly intuitive marketplace dashboard showing clean loan classifications at first glance.
Styleguide
Designing the visual system
Color Palette
Modernized primary orange accents, using color categorization to logically divide borrower and investor environments inside the app.
Typography
Replaced old serif style fonts with a crisp modern sans-serif typeface, drastically improving reading legibility on small phone screens.
Microinteractions
Custom spring animations and gesture feedback on buttons to make navigating financial listings feel delightful.
